Main functions and uses: The artificial rumen simulation system is a model that simulates the rumen digestion process of ruminants, simulates the digestion and absorption in the rumen under in vitro conditions, and can be used to predict or evaluate the digestibility, bioavailability, release kinetics, and structural changes of compounds. The artificial rumen simulation system can completely or partially replace in vivo experiments, with advantages such as reducing costs and time, improving experimental reproducibility and accuracy, and being manually monitored. This system can be widely applied in animal nutrition and feed research, food nutrition, functional active substance metabolism research, drug release kinetics research, probiotics and prebiotics, food toxicology research, etc.

Technical parameters:

Simulator structure: volume 0.25L~1L, ex situ sterilization, design pressure 0.3Mp; The simulator has dedicated exhaust holes for gas phase analysis. The simulator comes with an adapter structure that can adapt to different volumes and quantities of simulators, providing flexible matching. The adapter motherboard can be replaced and can be expanded to other volumes or even more simulators.

Each channel is equipped with a reliable preprocessing module, which should be installed in an observable and easily replaceable position. The preprocessing module ensures the accuracy of rumen gas production detection results and replaceable indicators. The deviation of the coefficient of variation for 5 repeated sample measurements should not exceed 1%. Each set of instruments should be equipped with sufficient replaceable pre-processing modules, ensuring the feasibility of regeneration.

#1) It can detect and control the temperature control simulation, peristalsis simulation module, rumen pH monitoring simulation, anaerobic environment module, EFS module, EFSR module, gas composition module, and pretreatment module of the rumen;

#2) The software comes with an upper computer software and a mobile APP for remote control. Users can remotely monitor and control the operating parameters of multi-channel artificial rumen through the upper computer software on their office computer; Users can also remotely monitor and control multi-channel artificial rumen operation parameters at any location and time through a mobile app.

3) Based on the metabolic digestion process, the software can simulate the temperature of the rumen environment and the mixing process of chyme or diet.

4) Based on metabolite analysis, the software can simulate the rumen for predicting or evaluating the digestibility, bioavailability, release kinetics, and structural changes of compounds.

5) All operations are carried out on the human-machine interface, with visual operations and animated instructions. The software comes with calculation and amplification functions, and automatically calculates the accurate digestion rate of the sample and provides scientific feed formula ratios based on the experimental results.
